Abstract
Medical mycology in the USSR has developed together with the development of Soviet public health. In the daily practice of dealing with fungus diseases it has accumulated rich clinical-epidemiological materials and has achieved new successes in the study of pathogenic fungi and in the organization of a system for combatting and preventing fungus diseases.
