RAPID LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY OF NUCLEOTIDES. THE SEPARATION OF PICOMOLE AMOUNTS OF 32Pi, AMP, ADP, AND ATP,

Abstract

By means of high pressure pellicular anion exchange chromatography picomole amounts of 32Pi, AMP, ADP and ATP were separated in 25 minutes. The method uses a linear concentration gradient (between 0.01 M-0.74 M in 30 minutes) formed from a buffer containing 0.25 M KH2PO4 and 2.20 M KC2. The flow-rate was 24 ml per hour and the operating temperature was 70C. (Author)
