MAGNETIC-CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC ORIENTATION PRODUCED IN FERRITES BY HOT WORKING-II.

Abstract

Barium ferrite, strontium ferrite and Ba3Co2-xNixFe24O41 were forged to high density with the development of crystallographic texture. Lead zirconate-titanate (pseudocubic) was forged to high density without development of crystallographic texture. Studies to elucidate the kinetics and mechanism of the densification and orientation processes were conducted. (Author)
