DESIGN OF A PLASMA CAVITY RESONATOR.

Abstract

The design considerations of a cavity resonator to be used for coupling energy to a gas are discussed. The calculation of cavity dimensions is demonstrated. The resonator is studied theoretically in some detail. The measurement system employed is thoroughly explained. The experimental results are presented and shown to conform to theoretical expectations. The further experimentation proposed is outlined. (Author)
