THE PARTICLE ENVIRONMENT AT THE SYNCHRONOUS ALTITUDE.

Abstract

The particle environment at the synchronous orbit is summarized. Included in this report is a discussion of the properties of the trapped relativistic electron fluxes and the phenomenology of the penetration of solar protons to the synchronous orbit. (Author)
