ALTERNATIVE DOMESTIC POLITICS FUTURES (ADPF): RESEARCH NEEDS AND RESEARCH DESIGN,

Abstract

The mission of this paper is to stimulate work on alternative futures of domestic politics, as an essential and critical component of serious future studies which presume to provide some prevision of the future and to serve as an aid for future-shaping policymaking. It includes two main parts. The first part discusses the present neglect of alternative domestic politics futures (in short ADPF) in future studies and explains why the author thinks that ADPF should become a main concern of future studies. The second part presents an initial design for the study of ADPF. (Author)
