NEW LOGIC ELEMENTS FOR INFORMATION-COMPUTER SYSTEMS,

Abstract

Logic elements developed in the Electrical Modeling Laboratory of the VINITI AN SSSR are described. These elements consist of ferrite diodes and cores, and their operation is based on the principle of current-switching. Control of channel current pulses is realized by cutting off the diodes by output voltages obtained from coils with saturated cores. Several circuits of these diode and ferrite core combinations are discussed, one of them being a universal element through which any of 16 possible logic functions of two variables can be realized.
