HYDROGEN FLUORIDE AND THE THERMOCHEMISTRY OF FLUORINE.

Abstract

The thermochemistry of hydrogen fluoride is reviewed. The principal emphasis is on the experimental basis of the heats of formation of HF(g) and of HF(aq). Data from flame calorimetry in which HF(g) and HF(aq) are formed, evidence from spectroscopic and photo-dissociation studies are brought together. (Author)
