EXPERIMENTAL DATA FORMING THE BASIS FOR THE BOMBING TABLES BT-1100-A-3 FOR THE BOMB, DEMOLITION, 1100-LB. , M33

Abstract

The report records the essential data on which the bombing tables, BT-1100-A-3, are based. A short description of the bomb is given as well as the mechanical constants of the bombs used. The methods used in range bombing and the methods of obtaining essential data are described. Also given are the methods used to determine the ballistic coefficients, as well as the methods used in constructing the bombing tables. Graphs showing the results of range bombing and graphs showing the fitted C : Y relations are included.
