INVESTIGATIONS OF STEREOSPECIFIC ELECTRODE PROCESSES.

Abstract

A summary is given of theoretical work which involved development of several new techniques, especially potential step-linear scan electrolysis, for studying homogeneous and heterogeneous kinetics associated with electrode processes. Experimental research in three general areas also is summarized: (1) evaluation of the new theory that was developed; (2) elecidation of the mechanism of selected electrode processes; and (3) attempts to correlate the influence of molecular structure on heterogeneous electron transfer kinetics.
