HOT IMPULSIVE DEFORMATION OF LOW CARBON STEEL,

Abstract

The structure of low carbon steel type St. 3 after hot impulsive deformation differs from the structure of steel in the initial state and after cold stamping. The optimum heating temperature at impulsive hot stamping of St. 3 steel 900-950 degrees centigrade. At the investigated temperatures and degrees of deformation of steel St. 3 at impulsive hot stamping the continuity of the metal is not disrupted. (Author)
