RE-REPRESENTATION OF ELECTRIC MACHINE SCHEMES IN A FORM SUITABLE FOR SIMULATION,

Abstract

The paper advocates using analogue computers for any eventual application of simulation techniques in the design of electric machines, especially in cases where the machines are to be produced in small quantity. By using analogue computers, it then becomes possible to employ factorial analysis and topological flow graphs, which appear to have been used with success in the design of a high frequency synchronous generator on an experimental basis.
