BASIC PARAMETERS OF RAMAN SCATTERING LINES FOR ALKOXYSILANES OF THE SERIES ((CH3)n)Si((OC2H5)4-n) (n = 0-3),

Abstract

Measurements were made of the frequency, integral intensity, degree of depolarization, and width of lines in spectra of Raman scattering of ethoxysilanes in the series ((CH3)n)Si((OC2H5)4-n) (n equals 0-3). Standard intensities and invariants of the arbitrary tensor of polarizability were calculated. An interpretation of the vibration spectra was made. The force coefficients were evaluated for the framework of the molecules. (Author)
