AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE CALL CODING DEVICE,

Abstract

An automatic telephone call coding device incorporating a pulse generator, flipflop, and switch. The distinguishing feature of this device is the fact that, for the purpose of increasing the volume of subscriber numbers and their digital length while at the same time simplifying the equipment, the outputs of the digit switch are connected, for example, to vertical busses in a selection field and across series-connected diodes and resistors with horizontal busses, across the normally open contacts of a name keyboard, to one of the inputs of a voltage comparison circuit. The other input of this comparison circuit is connected, across a sawtooth voltage generator, to a start terminal connected in parallel to a network consisting of a flipflop-former, pulse generator, and actuator circuit. At the same time, the output of the comparison circuit is connected to the second input of the pulse shaper and start terminal across a pause and forbid circuit. One of the inputs of this last-mentioned circuit is connected to the selected vertical digit bus, with the pause circuit output connected to the input of the digit switch.
