A DISCHARGE TYPE ION SOURCE WITH MAGNETIC BUNCHING,

Abstract

The invention involves a discharge-type ion source with magnetic bunching. The ion source consists of a sealed casing, a cylindrical anode, a permanent magnet for forming a magnetic field along the anode axis, and two diskshaped cathodes placed on the ends of the anode.
