LOGISTICS COMPOSITE MODEL USERS REFERENCE GUIDE,

Abstract

The Logistics Composite Model is a system of computer models written in SIMSCRIPT 1.5, designed to apply simulation to studies concerning the Air Force base level functions, e.g., maintenance, operations, supply, etc. In addition to the main model which is the simulation model, a preprocessor model translates the input data, two analytical models work in conjunction with the simulation model, and a postprocessor model prepared graphical displays. The individual models are described in detail, their data requirements specified, and methodology of data collection and network development outlined. Output reports are described in detail, and a step by step approach for preparing the input forms is discussed. (Author)
