CURVES FOR REDUCING COLLISIONLESS-CYLINDRICAL LANGMUIR PROBE DATA.

Abstract

It is possible to reduce the interpretation of experimental Langmuir probe data to the reading of a single graph. The experimenter simply measures the electron temperature and one other parameter. The graph may then be consulted and the plasma potential and ion number density read directly therefrom without any iteration. (Author)
