APPROXIMATE METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE HEAT EXCHANGE FROM A SMALL-RADIUS SPHERICAL PARTICLE,

Abstract

An approximate method is given of determining the coefficient of heat exchange of s solid spherical heated surface of small radius, placed in a viscous medium in the case of forced, natural or mixed convection. The method is based on the separation of the hydrodynamic and thermal systems in the general system of differential equations and the assumption of the continuity of the functions and parameters appearing in the equations.
