THE EFFECT OF END-FASTENING CONDITIONS ON THE STRESSED STATE OF A CIRCULAR CYLINDRICAL SHELL SUBJECTED TO CONCENTRATED RADIAL FORCES,

Abstract

A circular cylindrical shell of finite length subjected to two concentrated loads applied to the ends of the same diameter is considered. It is indicated how boundary conditions influence the flexibility and stress state of the shell. This influence is noticed in the main stress state and can be significant for some parameters of the shell. (Author)
