METHOD OF OBTAINING A MULTIPURPOSE ADDITIVE FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS,

Abstract

The invention involves a preparative method for multipurpose additives to petroleum products. To enhance the effectiveness of the additive, petroleum sulfonic acids or a mixture of sulfonic acids with nitrated oil are neutralized with an aqueous or ammonia solution of urea or thiourea. A variant of the method provides for addition of fatty acids, paraffin or ceresin to the product prior to neutralization. (Author)
