SHOCK TUBE INVESTIGATION OF THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY IN NOBLE GASES.

Abstract

A shock tube was developed and instrumented. The shock tube was used in an experiment in which the thermal conductivity of argon was determined in the temperature range of 1500 - 5000K and at relatively high pressures, 10 to 30 atmospheres. (Author)
