THEORETICAL AND COMPUTATIONAL RADIATION HYDRODYNAMICS. VOLUME II. THE DRAD CODE - COMPTON SCATTERING.

Abstract

The report is divided into four volumes as follows: Volume 1 (AD-703 293) gives theoretical consideration of radiation hydrodynamics including radiation transfer in a moving medium, effects of polarization on radiative transfer, the extended Eddington approximation and surface curvature. The present volume (Volume 2) contains a description of the nonequilibrium diffusion code, DRAD, with Compton scattering. Detail discussions are also given for retardation and flux limiters.
