SHEAR FLOWS.

Abstract

The principal objective of the research was to gain a better understanding of turbulent shear flows especially in the regions away from boundaries. Some theoretical analysis of laminar shear flow, using the 'Oseen approximation', is included. Brief statements describing the results on several specific problems are given. (Author)
