THE THERMAL DEGRADATION OF COMMERCIAL ADDITIVES FOR LUBRICANTS AND FUEL OILS,

Abstract

Thermogravimetric analysis of 9 commercial additives showed that the mechanism of thermal degradation can be investigated by this method. The endothermic and exothermic reactions involved in degradation and the electrical properties are not found by the method.
