THE ANALYSIS OF THE U. S. ARMY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SYSTEM.

Abstract

The investigation concerns the present U. S. Army aircraft maintenance system. In the study major emphasis is given to the management of the general support and depot-level systems of aircraft maintenance. The management aspects are studied with regard to the organizational structure of the system, the effects of general policy on the operation of maintenance programs, the effectiveness of management controls, and the implementation of management procedures.
