EDUCATION FOR RESPONSIBILITY. PART I. INITIATIVE TAKING BEHAVIOR,

Abstract

The document is concerned with educating ROTC cadets to recognize their strengths and weaknesses as mature, responsible adults. Educational experiences of this nature may lead the cadet to develop increased maturity or at least know his weaknesses and thus be aware of the need to develop strategies to compensate for them. The report describes an initial experimental trial of an experience designed to create awareness of any tendency to take responsibility in a group setting. (Author)
