AN INVESTIGATION OF LEADERSHIP QUALITIES OF KIBBUTZ-RAISED YOUNG MEN.
Abstract
The report reviews the second year's activities of a three-year study on leadership as manifested by Israeli Army officers, and its relationship to growing up in a kibbutz. During this year three self-completion questionnaires were administered to samples of men entering officer candidate schools. Data were obtained about various attitudes, social relations, values, experiences and personality characteristics. Sub-samples of kibbutz youth and an individually-matched urban group were selected. Analyses have been carried out. Comparisons between the two sub-samples on the different variables. (Author)
