ON MEAN-PERIODICITY, II.

Abstract

The Fourier transform of a mean-periodic element with a continuous linear form acting on the right sequence space is identified. In order to achieve this, one is led to a universal interpolation problem, which turns out to be entirely amenable. The final result is a complete characterization of the mean-periodic distributions of the space through their harmonic analysis. (Author)
