FURTHER STUDY OF THE ADOPTION-DIFFUSION PROCESSES IN DEVELOPMENT OF SHELTER IN NEW CONSTRUCTION,

Abstract

The document presents the methodology and findings of two studies of the Direct Mail Shelter Development Plan. In one study OCD computer printout data are analyzed; in the other, data from interviews with owners in California and Arizona are analyzed. Findings from the studies demonstrate that there are marked differences between public and private owners in the dimensions of attitude, information level, and actions taken in relation to the adoption of the innovation.
