PHOTOTHERMOPLASTIC RECORDING OF INFORMATION,

Abstract

The authors have discovered that optical images can be recorded on certain thermo plastic materials. Areas on a carrier illuminated by ultra violet light increase in size and can be developed by subsequent heating without charging the carrier. The advantages of this method include relative high resolution and the fact that wet development is not required. (Author)
