APPARATUS TVU-12 FOR THE TIME MULTIPLEXING OF CITY TELEPHONE EXCHANGE CABLES BY TELEGRAPH CHANNELS.

Abstract

The TVU-12 is the first Soviet-manufactured equipment to permit the establishment of 12 duplex telegraph channels over a single four-wire physical circuit using the time-multiplex method. When operating on city connecting cables type TT and TZ, this equipment places no restrictions on the method of telegraphy or the code of the information to be transmitted and permits telegraph speeds of up to 200 bauds.
