RADAR STATIONS FOR DETECTION AND GUIDANCE,

Abstract

Described are the general principles, electrical diagrams, and design features of several types of ground and airborne radar sets of various designation. Moreover, the author does restrict himself to a simple description of the selected models of the appratus, but expands the information on the basis of an analysis of the characteristics and parameters of the sets, and a critical evaluation and comparison of various alternate versions of their diagrams and design. As a result, the reader receives a body of knowledge enabling him to study independently any modern radar equipment. Examined in the book are ground stations for detection and guidance, stations for weapon guidance, the properties of airborne radar sets, radio altimeters, and range meters, stations for navigation and blind bombing.
