METHOD OF FUSION WELDING,
Abstract
An Author Certificate has been issued for a method of fusion welding in which the welding pool is treated by a traveling stray magnetic field. To increase the welding speed and improve the quality of welds by moving the molten metal of the welding pool along with the motion of the field, the traveling magnetic field is directed along the longitudinal axis of the weld.
