OBSERVATIONS OF SMALL CETACEANS IN FAR EASTERN SEAS AND NW PACIFIC (Nablyudeniya nad Melkimi Kitoobraznymi v Dalnevostochnykh Moryakh i Severo-Zapadnoi Chasti Tikhogo Okeana),

Abstract

Short-headed dolphin forms are concentrated in the S. Primor'ye region, near proliv Laperuza, in the southern part of the Sea of Okhotsk, Nemuro Sea and the small Kuriles. The porpoise concentrates in proliv Laperuza, east of o-va Shikotan, S part of the Sea of Ikhotsk. The white-sided and striped dolphins concentrate in the southern part of Kuriles. (Author)
