ANALYSIS OF DATA ACQUIRED DURING SIMULATION OF A V/STOL TACTICAL LANDING SYSTEM FOR HELICOPTERS.
Abstract
The report describes a set of FORTRAN IV programs developed for use on an EAI-8400 digital computer. General-purpose programs discussed include a three-way classification Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Duncan's multiple range test, Chi-square test, and trend analysis. The remaining programs are special-purpose ones to meet the specific needs of this experiment. The output of these programs provides a means of statistically analyzing data acquired during simulation of an idealized IFR tactical landing system. The results, in terms of the relationships of various system parameters, form the basic guidelines for actual flight testing of a landing system known as A-SCAN. (Author)
