CEREBRAL BLOOD FLOW DURING HYPERTHERMIA.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine at what elevated body temperature cerebral blood flow is adequate to meet the metabolic requirements of brain tissue. This report consists of a group of three papers titled: (1) 'Cerebrovascular Response During Progressive Hyperthermia in Dogs', (2) 'Cerebral Oxygenation and Metabolism During Progressive Hyperthermia', and (3) 'Cerebrovascular Response to CO2 in the Hyperthermic Dog'.
