ACCURACY OF OMEGA NAVIGATION SYSTEM USING 1969 SKYWAVE CORRECTIONS.

Abstract

Fix errors are computed by systematic sampling of recorded phase-difference data, including data acquired during disturbed conditions and periods of rapid phase change. Variation of accuracy with position is estimated. It is concluded that Omega using 1969 skywave corrections is accurate to a fix error of about 1 mile in North America. (Author)
