GEOGRAPHY AND THE PROPERTIES OF SURFACES. A STUDY OF THE MOVEMENT OF A POINT ON A PLANE AND IN SPACE.

Abstract

The paper discusses a method for determining the path of a point moving on a plane or in space under the influence of more than one field of potential. The method is extended to the generation of surfaces of potential in higher-dimensional spaces suggesting a procedure for the study of the movement of air masses. (Author)
