TWO EXPERIMENTAL DEEP MOORINGS OF A LARGE OCEANOGRAPHIC BUOY,

Abstract

Moorings at 1.7 and 1.3 scope were deployed experimentally in 13,000 feet of water within line-of-sight telemetry range of Bermuda. Some plots of mean-squared spectral density, probability density distribution and coherence of mooring line tensions, wave amplitude, etc., are shown for a typical day in each mooring. (Author)
