NOTE ON THE EQUATIONS GOVERNING SECONDARY WAVES IN CHANNELS.

Abstract

It is shown that the secondary waves and their interactions observed in experiments on long-wave generation (Galvin 1967) at the Coastal Engineering Research Center, U. S. Army, must be expected to be governed by the Kortweweg - de Vries equation. (Author)
