CONFIGURATION EFFECTS ON VENTILATION IN BELOWGRADE SHELTERS.

Abstract

Geometrical characteristics of belowgrade fallout shelters and their quantitative effects on ventilating these shelters using bicycle ventilators is discussed. Conclusions are drawn regarding supply ventilation systems, duct lengths required and the inclusion of Kearny air pumps in shelter ventilation systems. (Author)
