Abstract

The paper deals with first-order matrix partial differential operators of the form L = (-i) Summation, j = 1 to j = n, of ((L sub j)(x)(D sub j)) + L sub 0 (x) where x = (x sub 1, ..., x sub n)epsilon(R superscript n), D sub j = the partial dreivative with respect to j, and the L sub j (x), j = 0, 1, 2,..., n, are m' x m matrix-valued functions of x.
