NONLINEAR PIEZOELECTRIC SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVES.

Abstract

A report is given of the results of the experimental and theoretical investigations of nonlinear effects in surface acoustic waves propagating on piezoelectric substrates. The nonlinear effects include the parametric interactions, harmonic generation, parametric mixing and amplification of surface acoustic waves, and interactions between light and surface acoustic waves.
