THE ORGANIZATION OF THE WAITING DISCIPLINE IN MASS-SERVICING SYSTEMS USING THE MODEL OF THE COLLECTIVE RESPONSE OF AUTOMATA,

Abstract

A mass-servicing system with waiting is examined. The ingoing Poisson flows have various representative service times. A system of priorities has been organized without interruption directly in channels without the a priori knowledge of the characteristics of the input flows. The results obtained by simulation on a digital computer show that the quality of the proposed system's functioning is asymptotically adequately close to the quality of the functioning of a system with priorities whose probability characteristics are known a priori.
