COMBINED ACTION OF TsIATIM-339 AND SULFONATE ADDITIVES ON THE PERFORMANCE OF PROPERTIES OF DS-11 OIL,
Abstract
Preliminary testings of the DS-11 oil with a composition of additives consisting of five parts by weight of TsIATIM-339 (chemical abstracts 60: 1512f, 13076d) and one part by weight of the sulfonate additive on engine 4Ch 10.5/13 indicated that the lubricating oil obtained possesses superior operational properties. In order to determine the possible range of application of this lubricating oil it is necessary to study its behavior in diesel engines of different types under conditions of prolonged operation.
