THE CONTRIBUTION OF LANDSLIDES TO REGIONAL DENUDATION IN NEW GUINEA.
Abstract
The factors making for regional variations in landsliding intensity and hence in related denudation rates are examined. Comparison is made between regions of high, medium, and low intensities of landsliding and denudation. The rates of denudation so obtained are compared with basin-wide rates established for other areas. (Author)
