INVESTIGATION OF PRECISION ANTENNA PATTERN RECORDING AND DISPLAY. PHASE IV.

Abstract

The final report of work accomplished on precision antenna pattern recording and display techniques is presented. The equipment developed and reported herein is an experimental model of a digital recording subsystem to generate a high-accuracy on-line plot of relative signal amplitude vs. antenna angle while simultaneously recording the high resolution digital data on magnetic tape. Off-line operation includes the capability to search the magnetic tape and plot selected parts of the antenna pattern data thus recorded thereon. (Author)
