THE SAS-40 ADMINISTRATOR'S TELEPHONE EXCHANGE SYSTEM,
Abstract
A Soviet-designed telephone intercom system with external trunk access is described. The system permits conference calls (max. 20 subscribers) through a central console. No direct circuits between extensions, by-passing the central console, are possible. Console has built-in mike and loudspeaker, plus handset for conversational privacy. External exchange (or PBX) is reached by dial. An extension 'hold' feature is provided.
