Abstract
The report analyzes the course content of Army ROTC Military History, and reports the results on an experimental investigation into the psychological interdependencies among different levels of information. The study also reports two methods of computer-assisted instruction used to teach the principles of war. No differences in criterial behavior were found between two methods of principle learning. No relationship was found between subjects' mastery of historical detail and the ability to apply the principles of war to accounts of specific battles. On the other hand, methodological approaches to the utilization of CAI for studying inference making was developed. (Author)
