REMARKS ON THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE HIGH ENERGY BEHAVIOUR OF RESONANCES AND UNITARITY.

Abstract

An attempt is made, with the aid of a model, of connecting the existence of infinite resonances with increasing mass to the Regge asymptotic behavior, via inelastic unitarity. This process might be considered as a reggeization threshold by threshold, with a simplified analytic structure which preserves crossing symmetry by sight. This last point is somewhat reminiscent of Veneziano. (Author)
